1Shot Signs became the proud sponsor of all four of Virginia’s BMX programs for the year 2008. As the owner of 1Shot Signs, a small business, I am very proud of this accomplishment and look forward to working with VABMX for the 2009 season.
I can’t begin to tell you how excellent the not-for-profit sport of BMX is. It is truly surrounded by a very hard working and wonderful class of individuals.
Having the opportunity to work with the track directors and board members has been a great experience, as well as an excellent form of business opportunity. I would recommend any business owner to seek out a sponsorship for the development of BMX and their business. As some of you may know, BMX became an official Olympic sport in 2008.
The kids in the sport all have a mature attitude and are some of the most fearless young people I have ever met. Their parenting shines through them, and they should all be proud of the commitment and sacrifice that their parents endure for them to be BMX riders.
I understand that it takes a lot of conditioning to be a good rider. You need to have a high level of commitment, skill, physical ability, good person-to-person skills, team work, determination and a good overall understanding of the sport. For me, BMX and making signs go hand in hand. You need the same qualities to succeed!
